"F14lover" was my screen name a very LONG time ago on BBS's and online services (all of which are now defunct) in Virginia. I was often asked to explain what it meant - F14lover = a lover of F14's! For those who aren't familar with aircraft - the F14 is the US Navy "Tomcat" fighter of "TopGun" fame. My airshow "hobby" photography took a back seat since I moved to a part of Texas where airshows seem to be few and far between.

In the meantime, I finally went through my old airshow pics. I'm going to pull a few of my better ones and post them here for your "viewing pleasure".

Just to prove I'm not biased... here's a pic I took of the Blue Angels.

Navy pilots are the best damn pilots on this planet! No other group can land on the pitching deck of a "postage stamp" in the middle of the ocean!

My first love will always be the F-14, but I can appreciate the skills it takes to fly ANY military aircraft. Especially when it's a Naval Aviator behind the "stick". I'm also a former member of the Tailhook Association, and still support their goals 100 percent.
